Post-Brexit, Bowles and Walker have been running the plastic injection moulding business as usual. As expected, we have experienced minor delays with the import of raw materials and a noticeable increase in raw material prices.
However, as we were well prepared for Brexit, we had all relevant preparations in place for when Brexit fully initialised on the 1st January 2021.
Bowles and Walker Ltd have subsequently delivered products to Belgium, Netherlands and Germany since Brexit rules have come into place, with minimal disruption aside from delays from customs within the EU.
We are continually monitoring how the Brexit situation is progressing and are in constant contact with our customers and hauliers to ensure timely deliveries.
