Raw Materials Beginning To Stabilise

Bowles and Walker Ltd, focusing on plastic injection moulding, have been following since the beginning of the year, the plastic raw materials issues that have occured including the substantially increase in price and significant decrease in availability.

Now half way through the year, with the COVID-19 pandemic starting to come under control in the UK, commodity type plastics have begun to plateau in price while availability has significantly improved, though engineering type plastics are still increasing in price albeit at a slower rate.

This stabilisation of material prices will enable us at Bowles and Walker to work with our customers and suppliers to make firm agreements about supply of materials and price of products without having to constantly change our prices.
